In modern film, we usually find very bland, direct slams and insults. Occasionally, a marginally subtle and humorous attack is aimed towards a dense character who fails to understand the biting remark but rare are the times when ad hominem attacks are drafted with truly skilled craftsmanship. Despite the fact that my personality is not naturally drawn towards personal attacks, I cannot help but to appreciate the artful slams drafted by one of the great fathers of English literature: Shakespeare. Here is one of my favorites:
