NASA has announced plans to build a space ship that literally warps time and avoids Einstein’s relativity problems with space travel. Want to visit another solar system? It won’t take years any more – they’ll hook you up with a couple week’s travel and you’ll be visiting some distant planet in no time. While the article and its links only tease us with a small portion of the mathematics involved, it offers enough to make you thirsty for more information – which I’m sure will be forthcoming in the coming months.
