When Stupid Jack declares: “Mummy you is 4x dummer than I thunk you was,” my children can’t help but to laugh. The line comes from Willy Claflin’s Stupid Jack & the Beanstalk story right after his mother scolds him for only retrieving golden eggs because “you cannot eat golden eggs, they will break your face off.” If you’re looking for a great children’s story, check out Willy Claflin’s repertoire. Some of my children have literally listened to his story CDs dozens of times over during a two week period. To be frank: he’s one heck of a great babysitter!
